I've got news for you, doesn't make much sense to me either. You
expecting a bunch of people are going to tilt it up, and look at the
bottom? Now, if you'd said the inside of the lid, I could at east
understand that, but the bottom? You did say all 6 sides, and the last
I'd heard, the inside of the lid doesn't count as a side. Either that,
or you didn't express yourself clearly.

A couple of minutes on google will probably give your info on
hinges.

some form of 'invisible' hinges would seem to be a possibility.
see <http://www.soss.com> for a couple of possibilities.

Richard,

Not sure this will work exactly as you're describing but this site =
http://www.suigenerisfurniture.co.uk/gpcdet.htm has somewhat of an =

You may want to try carving wooden knuckle hinges into the stile of =

Thank for all the coments and help. I think at this time I will go with =
a tpye of inline hinges and a sliding panel in the case. And yes "T" the =

Use a euro style hinge. They come types to fit both frameless and face
framed style doors.

Rockler has them as well as relatively inexpensive jigs for setting the
hinges and a 35 MM drill bit jig that works well.

Use Euro-style hinges. you rout out a round mortise using a forstner bit
on the back of the door, and the hinges are completely hidden. You decide
whether you want inset or overlay doors, and the angle you want them to
open to, and select the hinges accordingly. Blum hinges are quality and
strong :)
