Sawing logs

Hi Y'all
I have the opportunity to acquire a log blown down in a storm. I think it's
Ash. Anyway, I'd like to get it sawn into boards. How should it be done?
Quartersawn? Another way? The log is approx. 12" in diameter x 7' long.
TIA
Joe

Ash has no real ray figure to enhance by quartering, but dramatic difference
between early and late wood. Saw it through and through. On a small single
log, only way to go.
