baltic birch in Ohio?

You can buy it at Wood Werks in Columbus. The last time I bought a
1/2" x 5' x 5' sheet it was around $30. I think Woodcraft and Rocklers
here have it also in smaller sheets.

Try some of the standard lumber yards. I find that some of the custom
cabinet makers like to use baltic birch for the inside of their drawers.
The plywood is readily available here in the lumber yards that cater to
the pros.
