for those who responded to my query re:adjusting the pc router.... i eneded up
calling PC and was told to call one of the techs.... he recommended i bring it
in for examination.... i did...he looked at it and attempted to get the motor
housing seperated from the base..... after tugging and twisting...he finally
got it off... then he tried to put it back on.....
went back to the shop and brought a brandy new motor housing sleeve and tried
the bases.... worked smoothly and without effort.....
turns out the motor housing sleeve was out of round..... he replaced the
housing sleeve and now i have an almost brandy new router to play
with.....BTW... it is on a 3 yr+ old 690 and it was free.....
the tech's name was *Jim*... out of the addison, illinois PC service
center..... got a problem...call jim....
