Nice review.
One picture puzzles me - it's the 2nd in the "Clear LEXAN Sub-Bases"
section - and is a mostly side view of the base with a black conical
thing on a shaft. What is it?
My first guess is that it is a "centering thingie". If it is a
precision/concentric cone mounted on a precision shaft - then it would
allow one to center the shaft in the opening in a base or a router
table. Neat! - if that's it. If it is, where does one get one? If it
isn't - what is it?

Excellent review. I knew I was making the right decision when I selected
this router. My compliments to you Jack - very well written review,
balanced, articulate, and of course - it contained all the things a fellow
who has just bought one would want to read.
