With all the background noise in the group of late, it's nice to
see that Ken Vaughn is still around and still contributing
from his valuable store of woodoworking knowledge.
Having recently completed Das Bench. I'm in the Accoutrements
phase of this project. Ken's bench and it's accoutrements are
a wonderful source of great ideas. Well worth checking out if
you're making a workbench or have one and want to extend
its functions.

I just finished an hourlong walkthrough of Ken's website (when I should be
studying for my CFA Part II in less than a month) that gave me at least a
half dozen ideas on how to improve my shop.
Great website; anyone who hasn't visited needs to take a look. I am always
amazed at the experienced craftsmen who have built their amazing shops
around six inch jointers, portable planers, and contractor saws (with
stamped steel wings no less) when so many of us out there think the only
answer to upgrading our shops is buying bigger and more powerful tools.
