To the Troll....
It's unfortunate that you live such a miserable existance and must resort to
this kind of behavior in order to get recognition of any kind. You
obviously are an immature individual in need of some serious help.
In case you haven't noticed, most everyone has filtered you out due to your
obnoxious postings - they don't even rate as a cheap troll. So if this is
some kind of twisted turn-on for you, have at it - it's your time that
you're wasting.....

It is pretty obvious that the anonymous "Bob" is really Bob S.
Check the header. His ISP is RoadRunner Rochester

Perhaps so, and I hope it is. I am sure if the real Bob has some
information, that information won't be wasted. :-)
As for "obvious", a little scepticism is needed nowadays.

Bob,
I've gone back and collected over 75 of the troll's posts with full
headers. Bridger has a copy now, and if you want one email me.
It's a 64K zip file.

You have it by now. Let me know if there's anything further I can do.

Funny, Bob. The fish seem to be bitin' pretty hard.
And don't be such a simple thinker. There's more
than one troll under this bridge. ;-)
BTW, if you guys got all the trolls filtered, how
could you see the OP? Bullshit artist. And don't try
to claim that nothing has been disrupted here. Due
to some of the trolls here, you, JOAT, and BAD have
all changed their posting addy or screen name. Due
to the trolls, the rec.woodworking FAQs is rated X!
Looks like you became the next JOAT.....a faggot.
Mon, Apr 26, 2004, 10:02am [email protected] (Bungholio) spouts troll
crap:
I'm kinda amazed. You people seem to be keeping a fairly close
record on me, and others, but still don't pay attention to the nuances.
Well, that's to be expected, with your arroganice and conceit.
Seems like you feel the need to make
spurious claims about people you don't even know. Would seem to be
because you can't abide people who exhibit high self esteem and
confidence in their own abilities. Or, maybe it just makes you feel
important in some way, or superior. I don't know. I do know that
people who attempted to belittle me throughout life, and told me I
couldn't do something, were trying to keep me from accomplishing things
that they knew they couldn't do, and knew I could. Didn't want to get
shown up. Seems similar. Except they did it to my face, not finding
the most cowerdly way to hide that they could, and then lash out. Also,
they knew me, and didn't go after people they didn't know, just for the
sake of doing it, because they could get away with it. It's no wonder
you people remind me of cockroaches.
And, despite your aspersions, I'm not gay. Never have been, never
will be. But, you already know that. Even if I was gay, you and your
fellow trols would still be the girl. LMAO You guys are lame, lame,
lame.
Well, I'm getting on with my life. You should try that, after you
actually get a life. Projects are starting to come together, and tha'll
allow me to get along with other projects. Most of them not wood
related, which is one reason why I haven't been in the group so much
lately. Another, it appears it's about time for another life stage.
Karma and all you know. Hmm, no, you probably don't know.
You know, you guys used to show a bit of originality, and did
provide a bit of entertainment value once in awhile. No more tho,
you've decided to resort to cruditiy, lies, and slander, instead. No
imagination I guess.
Ah well. I hope you one day marry and have three kids, that act to
you, like you do to strangers. Karma. Be even better if they weren't
your kids, but you thought they were. LMAO

Well.....we're gonna give it a try. State Attorney's office will provide
advice on how to proceed and make a determination of libel/slander based on
a review. If there's sufficient cause, they can go directly to the remailer
(dizum in this case) and can contact the SA office in the state where the
posts are originating. If he's not in the US, then we can pressure dizum to
block rec.woodworking.
I doubt we as individuals would have any effect on dizum but if as a group,
if we send them numerous and just complaints - we will get their attention.
Dizum does serve a useful purpose and I agree with it but they also
recognize their system can be abused and they do have methods and procedures
to deal with that abuse.
Any lawyers or paralegal's amongst us that care to word a class-action
letter each of us can send to dizum to get their attention and explain why
we want to have rec.woodworking blocked? This would make it a two-pronged
approach, the SA office looking at the poster (via dizum) and we solicit
dizum to block rec.woodworking. Either one gets the job done but I would
prefer that legal action be taken against him so he's made the example for
others to think about before thinking they can abuse a system and vilify and
malign others. He has gone beyond being just an annoyance and a troll and
has entered into the gray-area where legal action against him just may be
possible. He certainly has my attention - now.
It may be a waste of time but this particular individual is going to get the
attention he's been wanting so badly but it will be behind the scenes so to
speak. He's done the damage and left a big trail behind him. The more he
posts now, the stronger our case gets.

So much for the plonk, Bob.
I'd love to sign on as a class action participant if it
comes to that! :) Is there a lower limit to the number of
plaintiffs in a class action suit? Let's get Erin
Brockovich on this. She'll kick some major BUTT!

OK Bob. You're smarter than I thought. Subtle too. OK, now that you seem to have
figured everything out, what do you intend to do with this info?

If only that were true, we could read the wreck through Google without seeing
that filth. Unfortunately, a great many of his posts do *not* have that flag
set.
Contacting the State Attorney's office and we'll let them decide on whether
any of your posts are libelous. If they say yes, then we'll go to the next
step.
Best case we get you and/or we get rec.woodworking blocked from dizum. At
any rate, you have left plenty of trails on the net and whether that's your
handle or not is irrelevant.
I don't have to prove anything... you have clearly done that for us and it's
been archived for future reference - just check Google idiot...
