Paint..............

I am going to paint my sons bookshelf/shoe rack. I use a brush most of the
time but I want to spray.I will prime and paint.
The question is I have heard that spraying latex is not easy to do in an air
sprayer so I will be useing enamel(oil). The wood of choice
is MDF.What should I use????

I found the best way to spray latex was to use a pressure gun, not
siphon , a large nozzle and thin slightly with one of the latex paint
treatments rather than water.

Otherwise use an electric gun.

For MDF I would use a sanding sealer before painting since mdf seems to
really suck up moisture.

i have shot latex with an HVLP and had NO trouble at all... just
remember to thin your paint (insert cold shiver running down my spine
here...paint is for cars) and use a viscosity cup to get it thin enough
to shoot. the same would hold true for the likes of a critter gun or
other system.
