you made the base square, you would't have to figure out all those
angles. But, if you wanted something to go with a homemade chess set,
you'd want the angles.

Bummer, system says it can't find pineridgeonline, and I'm real
interested in a nautical themed chess set.

If that's all you want, try this. http://www.pineridgeonline.com/ And,
it's tables, not sets.

Wierd, works fine now. I used the entire URL and it couldn't locate the
server earlier.

Makes my head hurt just looking at them.
$195? I guess I would be out of line putting a $400 price tag on my pine
chess box then wouldn't I?

Nah, but what you gotta do is claim you're an artist, not a
woodworker. That it's hand crafted, not home-made. And it's imported
wood - it did come from outside your neighborhood, right? Then go
trolling for idiots with more money than brains.

I've been down that road with other stuff. Doesn't work. I guess I'm
neither snooty enough (I'm literate and articulate, but not cultured) nor
flakey enough (I don't do drugs) to get the right attention in that scene.
I'm not really worried about it at all though. I finally realized I like to
make stuff, and I don't care if I can sell it. When I need to get rid of
something to make room, I can always give it to someone as a gift. :)
