How do you prove you are illegal?

... and the legal aliens get to pay exhorbitant foreign student
tuition while legal out-of-state residents get to pay exhorbitant out-
of-state tuition (although I suspect your community colleges have few
out of state students). What a place!

Far from it, the real racists are the ones who pass this type of
legislation -- they are essentially saying to these people, "we know you
don't have what it takes to make it on your own, you need government
help"

This type of legislation is a real slap in the face to those who play
by the rules and did what was required.

This was not from Robin Williams. See at

I received it as an e-mail from my brother in law about a month ago.

I hope you did not get the wrong impression. I too thought it was on target.
I just want to correct the belief that it came from Robin Williams.

That was Potter Stewart, who had a summer home not far from here, in
Sugar Hill, New Hampshire. The best part of the story comes a few years
later, when he was photographed coming out of a nearby theater in
Bethlehem, NH -- having just watched "Behind the Green Door", or some such
art film. Not only did he know it when he saw it, he liked what he saw! :-)

Bruce & Chris,
'Urban Legend or not . . . when *something* is so much 'on target' that it
appeals to a good portion of the population . . . then the point has been
made.

I don't know the *exact* attribution; I BELIEVE it was one of the US Supreme
Court Justice's who said, "Pornography, Schmornography, . . . I know it when
I see it".

If, as an individual, you look at pornography...with the sole purpose
of determining whether or not its pornography...that's against the
law.

But if yer on the Supreme Court and you do it, well...that's justice!!

I've always been fond of this definition:

"Pornography/Obscenity is anything which
gives the judge an erection."

I don't recall who said it but I've always laughed.

California Dem. will never go along with this. Last week the gov. signed a
bill giving illegals legal drivers licenses and yesterday the news reported
the new plan to waive all community college fees to people who attended
three years of schooling in Calif. and CAN PROVE THEY ARE ILLEGALS.

Before I get called a racist let me explain one (of the many) reason this
pisses me off. My wife is an immigrant from Mexico. She and her family had
to live in Tijuana for about a year while the gov't processed the paperwork
for her to legally enter the US. She entered, prospered. married me (my
good fortune) and we paid off her college loans. She played by the system.
Some other clown makes a border run and his education is free (Free for him,
not for me. I will be paying for it.).

Lord, I hope we can take back this state from our hippie legislators.

Sounds like an excellent basis for jurisprudence. Thankfully, with
Larry Flynt soon to be elected governor here in CA we won't have to
worry about these things anymore.
