Hi all!
I am new to this group, but not completely new to wood working. I am
looking to upgrade from my current scary old direct TS to something
that runs more smoothly, and accurately. I have looked at all the major
brands (JET, Delta etc) there are a quite a few nice saw out there. But
I also found a saw from Wholesale Tool that I was wondering if anyone
had experience with, or opinions on.

Part No 3035-0015
I have purchased some smaller things from this company because their
distribution center is about 5 minutes from my office. They have some
equipment out on display, but not this table saw. They are an importer
and are basically a more commercial Harbor Freight.
Any info would be appreciated.

with a table saw, there's a couple levels of quality, from the direct
drive you have to a cabinet saw. Don't buy a substandard contractor's
saw (which is what that one looks like).
The main advantages of upgrading from a direct drive to a contractor's
saw is the increased weight (saw doesn't tip over when ripping like a
benchtop), increased table size, and a good fence.. If you buy a
substandard contractor's saw, you probably won't get the increased
accuracy/good fence, and the darn thing might break down on you... I
don't want to see you have to rebuy another saw in 2-3 years out of
frustration. I started out with a benchtop direct drive too, so I can
see why you're anxious to upgrade.
Save up for a name brand, or look for a used one. Even if you have to
wait another 6 months or year to do it, it will be worth it. Check out
craig's list, ebay, etc. You can actually get decent deals on ebay
sometimes because often they are local pickup only (which reduces the
pool of bidders).

It doesn't look all that great to me... the wings look terrible.
Save a little extra and check out the Ridgid TS3650, you won't be
disappointed.
I do not know the machine but from what I can see in the picture I couldn't
say I am over excited about the quality. My first susspicion is that thay
call it a 'commercial saw' when it if far below the quality of a true
commercial saw. if I used it every day at work I would give it a cpl of
months to 1 year (with a few repairs/adjustments in the meantime) at the
absolute best. First giveaway of quality is pressed metal extension tables.
Why would you need 2 mitre slides? .... maybe some ppl are a little better
than me and can saw 2 pieces at once. Guard looks a little flimsy but could
be just the angle of photo. Switch box looks like it was mounted as an
afterthought, stuck out in the middle of nowhere where you could accidently
bumb the stop button in the middle of a cut.On the plus side the fence setup
looks quite reasonable with double locking. Mitre slides are dovetail slides
which are desirable but a bit of a pita when it comes to making your own
sleds.

That does not say much for quality. I'd certainly want to see one first.

I second the TS3650 suggestion. I got mine a year ago (with lifetime parts
and labor) for about 500$ and it has been very good to me. It also got
great reviews. Cast iron extensions, a good fence, and a built-in mobile
base. As an ametuer, it's more than I need, but I hope to grow into it.
Good luck.
