Ridgeless PVC connectors - FLUSH or INSIDE connections for aesthetics

A few years back made an outdoor out Billard / Pingpong table using
marine plywood and 3" pvc pipes that I primed and painted a shiny
black. The project came out excellent and the product will last a very
long time. Everyone who sees it feels compelled to knock on the fat
legs wondering they are Iron pipes.

PVC is a great material, the thick products sold at Home depot are
inexpensive, strong, light weight and indestructable. Great for all
sorts of exterior applications. I'm now thinking of building a window
awning out of 2" PVC.

Problem is... if you use the typical joints - it's unmistakably PVC
and can look real cheesy.

Does anybody know - anybody make PVC connectors (Couplers, elbows,
etc), that fit inside the the pipe and result in a smooth ridgeless
connection? If not somebody should go get rich on this.

Many thanks for *any* help or information!

They have an inside end to end splicer for 2" PVC at the Borg. If you really
want a tight butt you will have to chamfer the inside edge of the pipe to take
the shoulder of the coupler and then just be sure you get the ends cut
straight. You can probably fill any seam with Marine Tex/JB Weld type epoxy
product, polish and paint it.

Yes they do but I can't say who since it's been a long while since I looked
them up. Just do a search on PVC Furniture. As I recall, that's how I
found them.
