DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier
who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. Myla L. Maravillosa, 24, of Wahiawa, Hawaii, died in
Kirkuk, Iraq, on Dec. 24, of injuries sustained earlier that day in Al
Hawijah, Iraq, when her HMMWV was attacked by enemy forces using
rocket-propelled grenades. Maravillosa was assigned to the Army Reserve's
203rd Military Intelligence Battalion, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.

You would also be much mure cridible if learned to communicate without
having to use obscenities. If you'd paid attention, you'd have seen
that I used the past tense, not present. And, yes I knew the Medal of
Honor recipient, and yes, he knew me. I didn't say anything about us
being buddies, but we "did" know each other. Vaguely interesting, how
you term someone responding to a post of yours, as "fucking" with it.

What's your plan, stud? I would agree that in the US, it's sometimes easy
for us to go on with our comfortable lives and forget (at least for periods
of time) what our soldiers and their families are going through. So,
assuming you have the best of intentions, and your posts are meant to "wake
us up" to the casualties, what's your proposal? If you were to get the
attention of everyone who reads this newsgroup, what would you have them do?
What have you told your senator and congressman that you want them to do?
(Have you contacted them? Are you a U.S. citizen?).
And of course, how many people do you think you're actually going to
persuade by using this newgroup? How many people do you think are going to
listen when you're abrasive and insulting?
