I've Googled, but can't find a definitive answer for my Delta model
22-790X 15" planer. I don't have a tool to accurately measure the
existing angle. Some links state each brand planer may have a
different angle for its particular blade and, in general, most planer
(and jointer) blade angles fall in the 40=B0 to 45=B0 range. It's too
late to call Delta and I'd like to sharpen the blades this evening, if
someone can give me the correct angle for my particular blades.
Or does an exact bevel angle matter? I've thought just to sharpen
them at 43=B0 bevel and 41=B0 micro bevel.
This is the first time I've needed to sharpen the blades. I usually
write this sort of info in the owners manual, but haven't searched for
or needed this particular info, until now.
