There is no end to the twisting of the meaning of words to suit an agenda
these days.
My elderly father was rushed to the hospital ER, in an ambulance with the
sirens blaring, after collapsing in church with a heart attack that resulted
in triple by-pass surgery the next morning. Medicare and his private
insurance are now balking because they are claim it wasn't an "emergency".
Just had a run-in with the local school admin over the fact that my daughter
is officially and legally "exempt" from a certain test, but they tried to
force her to take it anyway "for their records". Luckily she has a bit of
contrariness (which she apparently comes by honestly) and politely told them
to stick it, along with the sentiment that if you can't grasp the meaning of
the word "exempt", than you shouldn't be in education.
... it just keeps getting worse.

I don't think I've ever seen the "MAF Anti-Spam ID" on anything that
_wasn't_ spam.

Interesting you'd bring that up. I've been an EMT for, um, about a dozen
years or so. We have to be _very_ careful to use just the right words
on the run sheets. Not to distort what it is of course, but to make it
so it matches whatever keyword checklist the insurance goofs use to
decide if it's a real emergency or not. Do you have a copy of the run
report? If not, call the EMS service's billing folks, explain the
situation, and I'd bet they'd be happy to help you work things out.
Believe me, it's as annoying on this end as it is on yours.

My daughter is 5 but is already showing signs of similar traits. (sniff)
I'm so proud of the girl. Not shy about sharing her opinions & telling
people when they're wrong, smart as a whip, and cute besides. No
bias here, though, nosirree...
