If I remember correctly, he would smack his head against the bell to
make it ring.
One time he missed and fell to the street below where someone looked
at his lifeless body and conclude he was a dead-ringer to the guy who
used to ring the bell in the church.......

Continued....

Then his brother took the job and the same thing happened...slipped fell
from the tower and died.

When the crowd gathered around and nobody knew HIS name, either, a person in
the crowd spoke up

"He's a dead ringer for his brother, though!"

"Larry W" <[email protected]> wrote in message

THe punch line I heard went something like this:

He ran towards the bell, but was dizzy from hitting it with his head so many
times already. His timing was off, and he missed, falling right out of
the bell tower window and plunging to his death, landing in a heap in front
of the church.

A crowd gathered and the police came to investigate. Seeing the commotion,
the priest went outside. "Father, do you know this man?" one of the officers
asked.

"Hmmm... I'm not sure, but his face rings a bell."

Not really. I'm not worried anymore. I have it on good authority
that Harbor Freight will have their version out next spring. Not at
$295 for a partial kit, but $29.95 for the whole kit and kaboodle
including 23 of the most popular sample consumables for the machine, a
case, and a one year subscription to "Handyman of America, The
Professional's Club".

It is rumored that some of the parts and consumables will even fit the
original Euro made model!

I dunno.... gettin' to be a lot of weird orange around the shop....
and I don't know if I need another "professional grade" plastic drill
bit sizer and magnifying glass.

Just looked at harborfreight.com, they are discontinuing them. 50% off
and the only accessory left is the pizza cutter/juicer/drill bit
sharpener. I really wanted the chainsaw/sewing machine.

I think the only difference is that the one in Big Lots is missing some of
the universal attachments since most of this kind of thing in Big Lots is
refurb gear from the mainline stores. I did see a shrink wrapped chimney
cleaner, cylinder honer and toe nail trimmer kit at Big Lots, but it was
missing the degausing attachment.

Well.... it remains to be see what old Orange can do for a price
point. I would be reluctant to try the large combination planer/
garden weasel/sausage stuffer attachment for this machine unless it
came from the OEM, but hey, HF gets some of them right despite
themselves.

Who knows; if they include it with the hog caller/trolling motor
kaboodle (usually given as a freebie!), I just might bite.

It's a brave new world, after all.

I guess.

Hell, I don't even know what the subject is.

Oh, well. Still might me more meaningful,

That's probably how they found out about Josepi's and sought to tax him. It
has been rumoured that the government has hired people who can read, just to
puruse Usenet in hopes of discovering revenue opportunities like this.

Yes, her singing can be a bit of an acquired taste, some songs more-so than
others. I enjoy most everything she does, but I can see how her voice might
grate on some people. She's definitely a gifted songwriter though, and a real
sweetheart. I've seen her live twice, and I do admit to having a bit of a
crush on her. :-)

I remember it: Starts out with a guy with no arms gets a job as a bell
ringer in a church, right?

THe punch line I heard went something like this:

He ran towards the bell, but was dizzy from hitting it with his head so many
times already. His timing was off, and he missed, falling right out of
the bell tower window and plunging to his death, landing in a heap in front
of the church.

A crowd gathered and the police came to investigate. Seeing the commotion,
the priest went outside. "Father, do you know this man?" one of the officers
asked.

"Hmmm... I'm not sure, but his face rings a bell."

Continued....

Then his brother took the job and the same thing happened...slipped fell
from the tower and died.

When the crowd gathered around and nobody knew HIS name, either, a person in
the crowd spoke up

"He's a dead ringer for his brother, though!"

Yup. "usually."

For _this_ item you don't get anything juvenile, just the taxidermist-processed
adult back-end, but including the walnut base (for proper display).

Thus, leaving no doubt it is a cat-ass-trophy.

One, very similar to the specified one but with the alternate attachments.
