Will a high count(like 330 threads/inch)pillowcase work well as a dust
bag?
1/330 x 1/2 =1/660 inches * 25.4 mm/inch * 1000 micron/mm = 38 microns
I used 1/2 in the above calculation imagining that the holes in the
fabric are about equal to the thread diameter. What's a more realistic
value?
What's a reasonable value for a real dust collection bag?

Under 5 microns is ok.
Preferably 1 micron or less.

GI blanket better. More paths to daylight = more slow air for small stuff
to come to rest.
