Darn guns, I thought this was a planing (shooting) bench. Oh well, I have no
doubt you'll post one someday soon...:-)

<chuckle> Ah, the looney left:
So much irrational hate, so little tolerance.
Someone needs to watch "Full Metal Jacket":

this is for fighting, this is for fun."

Talk about drivel. I've never seen an organization filled with more
fools breaking their arms patting themselves on their backs than MENSA.
The only reason that sue has the ability to say what she feels like is
that "cowards with guns" died to ensure it.

why do people write pages like this where the images are all on

Gun control is not about guns. It's about control. Depriving the
peasants of their means of self-defense has always been the first step
taken by any despot in the process of consolidating his power.

Poor parenting is the plague of our society, not guns. Guns are just
tools that can be misused like any other -- such as airplanes.

I used to be a shooter, but other hobbies have filled the spot. I
still respect the rights of others to shoot though.

Would need to amend the time frame. That would overlap lawyer season.

I'm not so worried about the season overlap as making sure that there

However, I'm quite sure that Stalin, Hitler, Amine, and even our own

I have an Outdoor Life Home Gunsmithimng book that has a shooting bench plan
that is not so much portable but it is a great shooting bench and is on runners
and light enough to be dragged around by hand or with a small tractor. I built
two of these with some slight modification for both right and left handed
shooters for our local park rangers, they work great and involve 2 X 6
construction and about 11-12, 8 footers plus screws for construction Sort of a
picnic table for shooters and a very stable base for shooting. I built one
twenty years ago when I could shoot in my yard in PA and really liked it, kept
the plan and now have a couple more to use (one for handguns close up and one
for rifles at 100 yards, we got tired of dragging the one bench backand forth.
Regardless of your views of shooting, this bench works. What we need now is a
great Troll target. I would mail a copy of fax a copy once I return to my
office after the holidays, contact me if interested. Plan is about 6-7 pages,
with photos and material lists

You're right, I apparantly made an assumption that was incorrect. I'm
sorry. I didn't see the original post and if you are so inclined, I would
like to have the link you posted for the shooting bench.

I agree completely, ask the Turks, the Cambodians, the Chinese, the
Jews, the Armenians and several African Nations.. Millions upon millions
have died because their governments had the same attitude as the
original poster. However, I'm quite sure that Stalin, Hitler, Amine, and
even our own liberals would agree with him.

I beg your pardon. You agree with what? I was the original
poster. I posted plans for a shooting bench. Period. This IS a
woodworking newsgroup, and that was/is a woodworking plan. I believe
you are confused, and calling the troll the original poster.
