Well friends....got about a week to 10 days more before the
Woodworkers Warehouse store that I work at closes down forever. We
have nothing left as far as machinery goes, but still have quite a bit
of accessories and stuff. Still can't believe how fast everything went
out the door at only 10, 15 and then 20% off!
At least I was able to purchase the Powermatic 66 saw that I've been
wanting for a long time at a fairly decent price....$1600.
Just brought it home a few hours ago. Looking forward to getting it
set up and running, since very soon I'm gonna have a lot more free
time on my hands! LOL
On a funny side note, in the last few days, almost every time I
answered the phone, I would say, "Woodworkers Warehouse, this is
Terry. Are ya hiring?" Most guys laughed like hell and thought it was
funny...some didn't even get it. Oh well, ya gotta have a sense of
humor, right? No sense getting too upset over the loss of the
job....wouldn't help anything.

I've never been there, but heard good things about it.
I wish you luck.

With the way the building boom has been going every where in the free world;
if you are good with your hands I doubt you'll have much of a problem
finding work.

Terry,
Which store are you at?
I've shopped in excellent WWW stores in CT, and one poor one. <G>

I know! <VBG> But hey, at least I got SOMETHING out of this bad
deal... LOL
Terry
PS... also got a Delta 6" jointer for $300 and a Delta 14" closed
cabinet bandsaw for $300. Both were the ones I had used briefly in the
demo shop. Both are new with full warranties. Heh-heh...
AhhhhhYes, retirement is treating you just fine now isn't it? :)

Hi Terry. Nice to hear from you again. The Manchester WWW has just about
nothing left. Looks like this will be their last weekend.
Oh, and about the Powermatic, that's definitely a "you suck!" :)

Thanks much,
We tried very hard to serve the customer as best we could.
