Can't say why they would call this an Oriental chsss set. Reminds me of
something with African origins. Regardless, looks like something pretty
simple to make something along these lines. Basically, just use a hole
saw, cut out circles, and stack them on a piece with a dowel stuck in
it, some colors, beads glued on, etc. Viola, a $500 chess set for a few
pennies and a bit of time.
