I seem to recall reading an article a ways back that tested the
"aphrodesical" (if that is in fact a word) properties of several substances
on males (human). The most potent substance tested was pumpkin pie spice.
Perhaps there is a connection.

Many a wood floor was made from "pumpkin" pine ... the wider the board the
more gorgeous the floor.
