Abuse of Usenet to ICG and Google

Thought you all would like to know that I did send a e-mail complaint to ICG
and Google,
Google sent a computer response within second that there on it blah blah
blah.

Here is the response i got from ICG

ICG is a wholesale dial-up provider serving more than 64 ISP's across the
country - including 7 of the top 10 ISP's in the United States.

***If you have received SPAM from an email address [user name]@rasserver.net

- please understand that this is a forged email address and there is nothing
that can be done to help you. Rasserver.net has no users other than the
administrative accounts - so there is no way that it could have sent you

SPAM***


This is a reply to confirm that your message describing an incident of
alleged service abuse has been received by the Internet Abuse Team at ICG
Communications. Please DO NOT reply to this message. You should only receive
this message once.


If you are reporting an incident (E-mail or Usenet) for us to track, it is
important that you forward the suspected e-mail or posting along with full
headers. Please note the time zone of the original time stamp. Without the
time zone and the header, we will not be able to discern where the e-mail or
Usenet post originated from, and we will not be able to contact the ISP
responsible for that user. If this information has not already been sent, we
would request that you re-send the requested information as soon as
possible.

***Due to the volume of complaints received - if you have not provided the
required information - then no action will be taken on your complaint.***


ICG Communications is dedicated to ensuring that its service is used in a
manner that is consistent with the terms of the Master Telecommunications
Service Agreement and the Acceptable Use Policy. ICG Communications takes
all reported abuse complaints seriously and will handle them in a timely and
efficient manner. Should we require further information regarding your
complaint, we will contact you.


This may be the last reply you receive from ICG Communications regarding
your complaint. Please do not interpret a lack of response as a lack of
action taken. Be assured that if we find that a customer is in violation of
the Terms of the Master Telecommunications Service Agreement and/or the
Acceptable Use Policy, we will take the necessary action to stop the
activity in question.

The ICG Annoyance Call Bureau (ACB) also provides assistance to ICG
customers with the following voice services issues:

Computer Generated / Fax Tones

Silent Hang-ups

Harassing / Abusive

Threatening

Other (could include) Suicide Threats, Runaways, Kidnappings, Burglaries,
Hostage Situations, Bomb Threats, etc.
